Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2 November 2026. Last updated: 2 November 2026.

1. Who we are

BizToolKit (biztoolkit.co, "the Site", "we", "us") is operated by AK Digital, owned by Anna Heifets, an independent business based in Israel. The Site offers free browser-based tools (for example image and PDF converters and calculators) and a blog with business and freelancing guides, supported by advertising and, in some places, affiliate links.

Contact for any privacy question or request: support@ak-digital.com

For the purposes of the GDPR, UK GDPR and Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, AK Digital is the "controller" or "database owner" of the personal data described in this policy, together with the advertising and analytics partners named below, which decide how they use some of the data they collect through the Site.

2. The short version

  • Files you convert or compress with our tools (images, HEIC, WebP, PDF) are processed inside your own browser. They are not uploaded to our servers and we never see them.

  • You do not need an account to use our tools, and we do not sell your files or the text you type into our tools.

  • The Site uses cookies and similar technologies from Wix (our website platform), from Ezoic (our advertising partner, which also provides our consent tool) and from Google and other ad partners, to show ads, measure visits and keep the Site working. Where the law requires it, non-essential ones only run after you consent.

  • You can change your consent choice at any time (see section 7) and you have the rights listed in sections 8 to 11.

3. What we collect and why

3.1 Files and text you use in our tools

Our file tools (HEIC to JPG, WebP converter, image compressor, PDF merge, PDF split) read your file with your browser and produce the result on your device. We checked the tool code: it does not send your file to any server. The calculators and text tools (for example the TikTok money calculator, hourly rate calculator, headline analyzer, text cleaner, percentage, date and unit converters) also run in your browser and we do not collect or store the values you type. Some tools load open-source helper libraries (for example HEIC, PDF-Lib and PDF.js) from public content delivery networks (jsDelivr, unpkg, cdnjs). Your browser requests those library files from these providers, so they receive standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type, but not your files.

3.2 Data collected automatically when you visit

When you visit the Site, data such as the following is collected automatically by us and our providers: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, operating system, language, pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, date and time, and approximate time on page. This data is used to deliver and secure the Site, to understand which content is useful, and to serve and measure advertising.

3.3 Cookies, advertising identifiers and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, local storage, pixels and similar identifiers. Details, with categories and opt-out options, are in our Cookie Policy: https://www.biztoolkit.co/cookie-policy

3.4 Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if you give it) and the content of your message. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the correspondence.

3.5 Blog interactions and newsletter

The blog is provided by Wix Blog. View counts, like and comment features may be shown on posts. Commenting or liking may require you to sign in as a Site member, in which case Wix processes the name, email and content you provide. If we offer a newsletter or email updates, we will collect your email address only when you submit it, and only to send you what you signed up for (see section 9 on email).

3.6 What we do not collect on purpose

We do not knowingly collect special-category or sensitive data (such as health, biometric, precise location, government identification or payment card data). We do not process payments on the Site.

4. Legal bases (GDPR and UK GDPR)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): non-essential cookies and similar technologies, personalised advertising, and optional sign-ups. You can withdraw consent at any time.

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): running, securing and improving the Site, aggregate analytics, fraud and invalid-traffic prevention, and replying to messages.

  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): where we must keep records or respond to lawful requests.

5. Who receives data (service providers and partners)

  • Wix.com Ltd. and affiliates - Website hosting platform, blog, analytics, security: Hosting, delivering pages, Wix Analytics and Wix cookies, error monitoring. See https://www.wix.com/about/privacy

  • Ezoic Inc. - Advertising, ad-technology and analytics partner; provides the consent management tool (Gatekeeper Consent): Selecting and serving ads, measuring ad performance, site analytics, consent collection. Policy: https://www.ezoic.com/privacy-policy/ ; ad partner list: https://www.ezoic.com/ad-partners ; contact: privacy@ezoic.com

  • Google (AdSense, Google ad services, ad-traffic quality) - Advertising: Serving and measuring ads, preventing invalid traffic. How Google uses data from sites that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

  • Advertising partners connected through Ezoic and Google (supply-side and demand-side platforms, ad exchanges, measurement and identity providers such as those that appeared on our Site when we tested it, including Quantcast, ID5, Teads, Infolinks and others) - Advertising: Bidding for and showing ads, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention. The current list is maintained by Ezoic at the link above

  • jsDelivr, unpkg, Cloudflare cdnjs - Content delivery networks: Delivering open-source code libraries used by some tools

  • ToolPilot.ai - Directory: We display a "Featured on ToolPilot.ai" badge loaded from their server, so your browser contacts them when it loads

  • Social and video platforms (Facebook, X, YouTube, others) - Linked or embedded content: Only if you click a link or play embedded content; their own policies then apply

We do not sell your personal data for money. Please note that under some laws (for example California and other US state laws) sharing identifiers with advertising partners for targeted advertising can count as a "sale" or "sharing". See section 10.

6. International transfers

We are in Israel, which the European Commission and the UK recognise as providing an adequate level of data protection. Our providers, including Wix, Ezoic, Google and ad partners, process data in Israel, the United States, the EU and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, Standard Contractual Clauses, or your consent.

7. Cookie and advertising choices

  • Consent tool: when the Site shows its consent banner, you can accept, reject or customise. You can reopen it through the "Privacy settings" or "Do not sell or share my personal information" link or icon when it is displayed, or by clearing the Site's cookies, which makes the banner appear again.

  • Browser and device: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control are honoured to the extent our consent tool and ad partners support them.

  • Google: manage ad personalisation at https://adssettings.google.com

  • Industry opt-outs: https://www.aboutads.info/choices (US), https://optout.networkadvertising.org (US), https://www.youronlinechoices.eu (Europe), https://youradchoices.ca (Canada).

  • Opting out of personalised ads does not remove ads; you will still see ads that are less relevant to you.

8. Your rights in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

You may ask us to: access your personal data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing (including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing); receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Email support@ak-digital.com. We reply within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. For data held by Ezoic or Google as independent partners, you can also contact them directly.

9. Email and marketing

We send marketing email only to people who signed up for it, with an easy unsubscribe link in every message, our real contact details, and no misleading subject lines (as required by CAN-SPAM, GDPR and similar laws). We do not buy email lists.

10. US state privacy rights (including California)

Residents of California and several other US states have the right to know what personal information is collected, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the last 12 months the categories of personal information that may have been collected through the Site are identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers), internet or network activity (pages viewed, ad interactions), and approximate geolocation. These are collected from you or your device, for the business purposes of operating the Site, analytics, security and advertising. Advertising partners may receive identifiers and browsing activity in a way that counts as "sharing" or "sale" under these laws. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. To exercise a right, use the consent tool or email support@ak-digital.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your request, and you may use an authorised agent. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law. The Site does not respond to the older "Do Not Track" signal; opt-out preference signals are handled as described in section 7.

11. Israel

We handle personal information in accordance with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13 in force since 14 August 2025. You may ask to review the information we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted, by emailing support@ak-digital.com. We hold only limited data (technical data and messages you send us), do not hold sensitive information as a business, and apply reasonable security measures. You may complain to the Privacy Protection Authority of the Israeli Ministry of Justice.

12. Children

The Site is a general-audience business and productivity site. It is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA, UK and some US states), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@ak-digital.com and we will delete it.

13. Retention and security

We do not store files processed in our tools. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and our records, then deleted. Cookie and analytics data is kept by our providers for the periods in their own policies (see their policies). We use HTTPS and rely on the security measures of our hosting and service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

14. Third-party sites

The Site links to other websites and services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

15. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will give additional notice on the Site.
